RoadShows Catering Inc was founded as a family business in 1973, by Karin Davis. Karin's mother, Eunice was a major influence as she was the first woman executive at Coca-Cola U.S.A. serving as food service director there for 25 years. Initially, Karin provided flowers and catering for a major Atlanta wedding salon.
However, with the creation of the Georgia Film Commission in l974, she was recruited to provide catering for the Paramount studios filming of "The Longest Yard" starring Burt Reynolds at the state penitentiary in Reidsville, Georgia. Thus, began her career in production catering with over 100 major movies between 1973 and 2006. Thousands of crews filming commercials for television were also catered for during this period.
